I suppose Trump is counting on some “Rally ’Round the Flag” boost for the November Mid-Term elections.  Dream on, Donald.  Many of us have been horrified by the droppings of the Donald on our once-fair country ever since he first reared his orange head, but by now almost everyone is thoroughly disgusted by this caricature of a President (“Clown,” is the most charitable euphemism I can come up with).  Even most Republicans are beginning to look the other way when the subject of the Orange Monster comes up.  Mothers now frighten their children into obedience by threatening that “you’d better be good, or the Donald will get you!”  If their child happens to be anything like trans, or even just plain old gay, or if they are not holding an American passport, such threats may be entirely too plausible.  

     This war against Iran is totally unprovoked, illegal, unnecessary, and counter-productive.  It is not even America’s war !  The United States doesn’t have a camel in this fight.  This is an Israeli project from beginning to end, and the clueless Donald is just Netanyahu’s puppet, dutifully going to war against Iran, as if it were not enough to finance Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people, with both guns and money, so that the Zionists can take over all the land of Palestine, as a step along the way to a “Greater Israel,” from the Nile to the Euphrates.  

     I wish there were more I could do.  At least I have downgraded the United States from Purple to Red on my Map of the World according to the levels of consciousness prevailing in every region, using the colors of the levels of consciousness from Hermetic Alchemy (vide: GaiaAura.com).  I mean no disrespect to this country or its people ~ all of my scorn is directed at that repulsive Orange Monster currently squatting in the White House.  He cannot be booted out too soon to satisfy me.  So far from any rallying around the (tattered and disgraced) flag coming to help the Republicans in November, this latest bombshell (and I guess I don’t have to mention that I mean this literally) will thoroughly tank the Republican party’s chances at the polls.  

     Regardless of what anyone thinks of any of the particular candidates running, everyone must vote for Democrats (while holding their noses ~ the Democratic party has fallen very far lately, so that, in the absence of any more sensible Ranked Choice Voting that might give opportunity for new voices, the Democrats are just the “least bad” of available options).  A massive Blue Wave, something like the cleaning of the Augean Stables, one of the Labors of Hercules (quod vide: AugeanStables), should flush out the Donald and his offal from the White House, with a bi-partisan Impeachment from a country which has had more than enough.  A tarring and feathering should at least be metaphorical, if not literal.  

     As this country sinks into Authoritarianism, all restraint is abandoned.   Freedom of Speech is reduced to a historical curiosity.  News items like this one of today are becoming routine: Florida Has Deemed All Existing Intro to Sociology Textbooks Illegal and Produced Its Own).  Levels of Consciousness are in free-fall worldwide, but especially in The Land of the Free.  There is nowhere to run; we must stand our ground and fight back, or die.
