The accelerating decline of consciousness of our poor planet has long since gone way past catastrophic levels of alarm.  I don’t have the stomach to review all the indications marking this collapse of civilization.  (Just a sample from today’s news: Trump’s EPA Aims to Drop Key Agency Finding That Greenhouse Gases Are Harmful.)  Even though it is happening at breakneck speed, it seems that everyone is numb with the shock, and unable to understand what is happening with any perspective.  

     Genocidal wars have just been business as usual for at least the last hundred years or so, but what is different this time is that no one seems to pay much attention to it.  “Ho, hum, more genocide.  Please pass the muffins.”  It is understood that the perpetrators themselves sink into a kind of madness that removes them from any vestige of reality, so that they have no conception of what is going on.  But, in most cases, there used to be a hue and cry from the rest of the world loudly condemning and protesting against such extremely depraved depths of human behavior.  So, in the case of the undisguised and unapologetic campaign for the annihilation of the Palestinian people ever since 1948, the State of Israel is, of course, primarily responsible, but the government of the United States (and, to a lesser extent, the United Kingdom and Germany) is almost equally culpable.  Supporting the rogue State of Israel not only diplomatically, but materially with guns, bombs, and money, is an unforgivable war crime of heinous proportions, and all of the leaders of Donald Trump’s administration, along with almost the entirety of Congress, Democrats as well as Republicans, should be indicted for war crimes by the International Criminal Court in the Hague.  

     To be sure, most of the rest of the world is increasingly expressing their outrage against not only the State of Israel, but also the United States, the principal backer of the genocide.  Too many “allies” of the United States seem to be unable to recognize the degree to which the government of the United States has fallen off the track, descending into the madness, chaos, and death which is increasingly affecting the whole of the earth in its dying days.  Are they truly oblivious, or just afraid of the ire of the Orange Demon ?

     Why do so many Americans continue to support that raging maniac in the White House ?  When will people rise up in their hundreds of thousands and declare that the Emperor has no Clothes ?  Donald Trump is a vicious war criminal, just as deranged as Benjamin Netanyahu or Vladimir Putin.  When will America’s true friends and allies rise up and declare the obvious, that the United States has been seized in a coup by the wealthy and powerful, who bleed the country dry, padding their nests with endless tax breaks, and eviscerate all of the laws intended to mitigate the depredations of the Robber Barons, all while diminishing all measures intended to ameliorate the conditions of the poorer classes – Medicaid and Supplemental Nutrition ?  This is naked piracy, with Orange Hair himself (“Blackbeard”) swaggering along the decks of his pirate ship of state.  There hasn’t been such blatant piracy going on since Ferdinand Marcos of the Philippines loaded up convoys of gold bullion and trundled them out of town, to be buried or hidden away for his future use.  

     I have been trying to set up a website (GaiaAura.com) to represent graphically the collapsing levels of consciousness world-wide, so that the decline and death of our planet can be watched like a YouTube video, while munching popcorn.  Our planet used to be Green and fertile, but it has fallen on increasingly hard times, descending to the Orange of conflict, falling further to the Red and Purple of massacre and genocide, the most primitive levels of consciousness just barely above the Black of death.  Can’t anyone see what comes next ?  We are experiencing the death of our planet in real time, as the Robber Barons continue to fleece the starving millions, oblivious to the problem that, when the earth no longer supports life, all of the untold billions of dollars will be as worthless as all the gold of King Midas.  You can’t eat the gold, and not all of the gold in the world will restore to life the child who was sacrificed to obtain that gold.  When the host is destroyed, the parasite will die also.  

     Why are there no revolutions in the streets ?  There should be a General Strike in the United States (the true epicenter of the collapse of consciousness, more significant even than the totally depraved State of Israel).  Every patriot in this country should stop all work, stop everything, until Donald Trump is finally ridden out of town on a rail, tarred and feathered.  Then a new administration might wake up to the scale of the calamity and stop sending money, guns, and bombs to the State of Israel.  They should be sending money, guns, and bombs to the Palestinians, as well as immediate food aid.  

     So the partizans of Israel claim that “Israel has a right to exist, and the right to defend itself.”  No; that is no longer correct.   The State of Israel no longer has a right to exist – it forfeited that right long ago, going back to 1948 with their announced and undisguised campaign to annihilate every Palestinian, to the last man, woman, and child.  No; Israel has no more right to defend itself, either.  All members of Netanyahu’s gang of murderous villains should all be sent to the Hague for trial for their war crimes, and the Palestinians should be assisted to the restoration of their sovereignty over the entire land of Palestine, which they have occupied for many generations.  

     Just to briefly reiterate the program for renewal – the fundamental problem is that the world is run by the wealthy and powerful for the purpose of maintaining the wealth and power in the hands of the wealthy and powerful.   This is all wrong, and no way to run a railroad in the present millennium.  Some way must be found to vest the authority of the earth in Stewards who will defend the earth from the wealthy and powerful, not toady to them.  I have suggested some ways to do this, but any other solution can also be implemented, as long as the primary objective is to wrest the authority out of the hands of the wealthy and powerful, who are destroying our planet for their own amusement and profit.
