Once again I need to go over old ground to clarify the situation regarding the plunging levels of Consciousness world-wide, because the situation is so serious that the continuation resulting from the ongoing inertia of present energy patterns leads to Chaos, Darkness, and Death in very short order.  

     So, to talk about energy patterns and levels of consciousness, I need to repeat a whole course in Hermetic philosophy, but here are a couple of links to get you started ~ The Colors of the Aura.pdf.  Also, Jesus.htm.  

     I want to apply the language of this system to consideration of the present state of consciousness, world-wide, at the present time.  All the different levels of consciousness have many attributes and aspects, but one of those correspondences is Color ~ the color of the aura defining each of the levels of consciousness.  So it is useful (and even visually clear, once you get used to it) to use the colors of the aura as keys to indicate all of the eight different levels of consciousness.  According to these colors, we see the planet Earth glowing in hot tones of Red and Purple over most of the surface (Violent Attack vs. Suffering of Victim).  

     Not that this is anything new.  For the past 10,000 years, the human race has been struggling along in survival mode ~ just trying to stay alive in an endless struggle-to-the-death, of the Self and family against the rest of the world (Red and Purple).  High above, in the distant horizon, there are rumors of a transcendent life at a higher level of consciousness.  This would be the Buddhist solution, where the endless yin and yang of the market place gives way to a sublime peace at rest, when all of that is released (Blue).  There is no point discussing any of the higher levels, because none of them will have any bearing on our poor planet any time soon, whose only concern is basic survival, raging over the Red and Purple, trying to stay one step ahead of the Grim Reaper (Black).  

     We may think we are living during an age of unusual violence, but so much of the history of the human race suggests that this is just the normal behavior of those funny beings who call themselves “people.”  From the point of view of the Trees, the sooner those people finish killing each other off, the sooner our planet can begin the very long road to organic recovery of our biosphere.   So that is just the normal base-line of what it means to be human.  However, we can look at how the extremes of expression fluctuate with the addition of other influences on consciousness.  I am thinking about the physical and biological death of our planet, as well as pandemic surges, all of which fan the flames of violence on the planet.  So, as long as our planet is suffering under the “existential threat” of biological extinction, people are only going to get more and more punchy, like drunks in a bar room, as long as the effects of those conditions continue to deteriorate, with or without attendant pandemics.  

     None of this is looking good.  It is a circular race to the bottom.  What it would take to cause this accelerating spiral of dissolution to abate is such an enormous amount of energy that it is in the category of “divine intervention” as about all we can hope for.  The decline is circular and falling fast ~ all the negative energy coursing around our world makes everyone angry and violent, and the anger and violence of everyone in the world is plunging our planet ever deeper and faster into a tailspin of biological collapse and consciousness decline.  Have you any way of imagining how much energy it would take to turn that around ?  I think I have used the image before of a train hurtling down a steep hill, and there you are, trying to slow that train to a standstill, so that then you can begin the effort of pushing that train back up the hill again, at which point you are going to need some friends to help you.  

     Well, there are two ways of going about this ~ the first way is to so thoroughly change everything about the way our world works so that life can proceed with harmony, so that a much more beneficial energy flow will tend to elevate the consciousness of people on the planet ~ or, on the other hand, you could elevate the levels of consciousness so that the actions of human beings on the planet will begin to ameliorate the problem of the collapsing biosphere, instead of making it worse.  

     For a circular cycle raging ferociously over the planet, the first way is just not going to happen.  Absent the old Deus ex machina, our planet is on the way down and out.  

     That leaves the possibility of making such a positive shift in consciousness that human beings might possibly become part of the solution, instead of being such a large part of the problem for our dying planet.  Spiritual elevation is often a long process, perhaps taking many lifetimes, as some religious beliefs suggest.  But the key is an understanding of the different levels of consciousness, and understanding that the higher the level, the better everything becomes.  If everyone, everywhere, could learn this simple truth, then everyone would try to elevate their consciousness as much as possible.  And this, too, can have a self-reinforcing circular effect, rising rapidly upwards towards an expanding consciousness.  

     First, you have to achieve the level of Blue, rising above the constant struggle and warfare of Red and Purple.  In the Middle East right now, Israel is in the middle of the fight, raging bright Red, leaving a Purple aura in its path as it rampages around wreaking death and destruction.  If you want to rise above this level, you just have to let it go.  It is not easy to let go, but there is no other way forward (upward) until you release that energy and let it go, whether it is the angry violence of Red, or the oppressed suffering of Purple.  

     Above this level, there is a level of engagement, ranging from very close integration or conflict on the Orange end, to the completely peaceful state where the polarities of yang and yin are resolved and transcended to a state of rest at the Blue end.

     You have to achieve this state first, in order to progress anywhere higher up.  That next step up is the level of Yellow, radiating love.  As mentioned in the article about Jesus, this level of consciousness is the center and foundation of the message of Jesus Christ ~ that we should love one another.  “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love, one to another.”

     Well, those are the choices.  I didn’t say it was going to be easy.  Can you imagine what Bibi Netanyahu, Vladimir Putin, or Donald Trump would make of this discussion ?

     Perhaps China will rise to the challenge and lead the human race forward to the next level by a systematic expression of benevolence.  Instead of everything being entirely transactional, an enlightened state could operate from a position of dispensing benevolence.  For example, I suggest implementing a network of Free Farms everywhere, particularly in places where they are most badly needed, in conflict zones, and centers of extreme poverty.  It actually wouldn’t cost that much to do this.  Once a free farm be set up, there will be plenty of voluntary donations ~ food and clothing will probably be mostly locally donated.  The residents would provide most of the maintenance and upkeep, so very little patronage would be required from the sponsors.  

     This seems like the best place to make a beginning.  If there can be instituted a complete network of free farms world-wide, then one of the major causes of war could be eased.  Once warfare subside to cooler and cooler expressions, eventually a more beneficial engagement of energy may supervene.  

     There would still be a very, very long road before reaching the next Golden Age, but, if civilization survive at all, sooner or later there will be a new Golden Age.  I can’t wait.

     I guess it’s a longshot.
